WALKING HOLIDAYS.
Atelier de la Rose provides a base for walkers to explore the varied landscapes in the Montcabrier and the Lot Valley region. Whether you wish to have an independent or a personally guided walking holiday, we can help you. There are no fixed dates involved. We are open all year.
Independent walking holidays
Walkers who prefer to come with their own maps and guides can simply book our accommodation. Picnics and dinners are available on request. We also have a walkers' taxi service. We will drive you to your chosen point of departure and collect you at the end of your walk for an extra charge (the area covered by this service is up to 40 kms from Montcabrier). |

Personal guided walking holidays Sally's guided walks take from 2 to 4 hours and can be part of a programme that gives you time to visit sites, vineyards and markets. These are ideal for walkers who do not necessarily wish to walk all day, everyday. A programme will be designed to suit your requirements.

Notes
Longer walking holidays are possible, as are holidays for small groups.
Please note that all the walks involve ascending and descending slopes. While the walking is fairly easy there are some short distances that are difficult. Therefore some good walking shoes that support the ankles are best. However trainers will suffice (and are easier to pack). |
