Atelier de la Rose became the home of Ed Herring (artist, retired lecturer and motorcyclist) and Sally Gosheron (art and design historian) in 1991.

Our artist's studio, the centre of Ed's short courses in visual studies until his death in 2003, is an exclusive space in which artists and writers can work.

From the start, he and Sally set out to welcome international visitors seeking to discover the real France. Our experience of helping a variety of people get the best out of the region has enabled us to develop a full choice of activities.
